Sense and Sensibility

Rated PG In Georgian England, the sudden death of Mr Dashwood leaves his second wife and three daughters with little money and few prospects. Forced to abandon their family estate for a modest cottage, sisters Elinor and Marianne must navigate the strict expectations of society while searching for love. Sensible and reserved, Elinor conceals her feelings for the charming Edward Ferrars, while the passionate Marianne is swept away by the dashing John Willoughby. As heartbreak, secrets and social conventions threaten their happiness, the sisters discover that finding true love requires balancing the competing demands of reason and emotion.
